Brief Answer:
You should follow the uterine myoma by having a pelvic
ultrasound periodically.
You should be seen by an
endocrinologist for the adrenal nodule.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
The
follicular cyst in the right ovary is a normal finding (especially before menstruation's) that depends from the normal physiological
hormonal changes. So nothing to be done about it.
Uterin myoma is a benign growth of
smooth muscle in the wall of the
uterus. It should be followed up by having a pelvic ultrasound every six months, to determine whether there is growth of it or not.
Regarding the adrenal nodule, as it is discovered incidentally (so called "incidentaloma") and you do not have any symptom, the probability of being malignant is low. Even though it is recommended a detailed evaluation. The first step is to determine the functional status by a series of hormonal laboratory tests such as: plasma free methanephrine, plasma renin activity/aldosteron ratio,
dexamethasone suppression test, etc... If the results of all laboratory tests are normal, then a fine needle aspiration may be needed. In this diagnostic process you should be guided by an endocrinologist or internist.
Hope this is helpful.
